We recommend and following products for use with our propellers and landing gear. 

We couldn't strive to manufacture the highest quality products if we weren't using the highest quality materials. We have 3 different types of epoxy resins available to our customers, and a host of other handy construction materials etc.

STOCK REDUCTIONS. Due to the increasingly strict shipping requirements for resins it is no longer viable to provide this product hence we are winding down our GRP supplies. Limited stocks remain of the more popular items.

General Purpose Epoxy Resin  (No longer avialable)
An easy to use, 2 : 1 mix, low viscosity resin, with very reliable (overnight) curing and very easy to sand. Perfect for use with wood and general GRP building where a good quality epoxy resin is needed.

Laminating Epoxy Resin  (no longer available)
A very high quality resin system specifically blended to our own formula. Ideal for small castings and laminating. It is the same resin we use for our world famous fuselage and propeller manufacture.

6 Minute Epoxy  (no longer available)
Manufactured from the latest epoxy resins, this fast setting epoxy has renewed our confidence in such systems, it has excellent cured properties (not rubbery or yellow), and doesn't cure as it's being mixed.

Q-Cells
Similar to 'micro balloons' etc. Q-cells are very tiny hollow plastic spheres (like miniature table tennis balls), which when combined with resin, makes for a perfect lightweight filler etc. The Q-Cells / Bolly General Purpose Epoxy Resin combination is easy to sand. Also combine with Glass Powder and Thixotropic powder to suit. Also aids your game of pool, a little on your bridge hand and your cue will not grip your skin, nice and smooth.

Glass Powder
We could never live without this product. It is glass fibres chopped into .8mm lengths. Combined with resin it makes an easy to use paste which cures to be incredibly strong. Also use with Q-Cells and Thixotropic powder.

Thixotropic Powder
Used extensively in house paints (it stops the paint sliding down the wall). It is a perfect companion to Q-cells and Glass powder in making the perfect filler to suit your needs.

Carbon Fibre Rovings
Carbon fibre is incredibly strong for its weight, very rigid and easy to use. It can be used flat, or bundled to form a spar. Used extensively in high stress areas. Using a few 'tows' top and bottom of a structure adds incredible strength for minimum weight.

Glass Fibre Rovings
Glass fibre is a much cheaper material than carbon. Use as per carbon fibres. Perfect for making your own glass fibre components, where carbon can sometimes be too rigid. This is a product normally very difficult to buy in small quantities. Note, this is not your normal 'chopper gun' grade of glass rovings.

Aramid (Kevlar) Rovings
Aramid rovings are a very useful, but difficult to find product. 'Kevlar' is light, slightly flexible but very tear resistant.

Disposable Epoxy Brushes
We use these by the 1,000's. A 12mm brush with a metal tube handle (can be kept in thinners or stuck on a extension handle).

Silicon Exhaust Tubing  (no longer available)
We pack and supply the best tubing we have found for connecting pipes and mufflers to engines and headers. Most of the tubing is of the dual colour, cloth reinforced type, which will survive where plain silicon will tear. As we no longer manufacture Carbon Tuned Pipes the Silicon Exhaust Tube range will be discontinued as stocks run out.

Iso-Mount
Rubber Isolators, 14 dia x 14 long (mm), 8-32 thread one end, stud the other. Use for engine or pipe mounting. Available in packs of one or four. Now Discontinued (as we no longer Mfg tuned pipes).

Pipe Mounting Cradle
A moulded plastic fitting (black), ideal for mounting pipes and mufflers to the fuselage. Screw the fitting to the model (or Iso-Mount) and simply cable tie the pipe to the fitting.

Nylon Bolts
We pack and supply a range of 1/4 x 20 (Whitworth) thread nylon bolts. The nylon is just the right grade - not too flexible or too brittle. This is the best wing (etc) mounting bolt thread, being course enough to be able to drill and tap directly into ply (no blind nuts needed). Available in round, hex drive or slotted countersunk head shapes x 52mm long. (note the countersunk version is 45mm). M4 and Hex head bolts have been discontinued.
